GRAND MASTER'S MESSAGE

On behalf of all Idaho Masons, I welcome you to the website of the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Idaho. On our website you will find a great deal of information about Masonry in general and Idaho Masonry in specific. Let me summarize a few details pertaining to our ancient and honorable fraternity. Idaho has nearly 4,000 Masons. They attend lodge in any of 55 regular lodges located across the length and breadth of our state. Each regular lodge is chartered to receive petitions for membership and perform the three degrees of Freemasonry. Idaho has been performing these degrees and making good men, better men for the last 144 years. Freemasonry accomplishes this by promoting a way of life that binds like-minded men in a worldwide brotherhood that transcends all religious, ethnic, cultural, social, and educational differences; by teaching the great principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth and by the outward expression of these principles through its fellowship, its compassion, and its concern - to find ways in which to serve God, family, country, neighbors and self.
